A Poem of Praise

The joy of Hashem
Can’t be wrapped in a bow,
For this joy lives in the heart
As a blessed hope.
This joy comes as a gift
From The Father above,
To all who have Torah:
Israel, Hashem’s declared son.
Through Torah, Hashem is with us,
The almighty God & Prince of Peace, He guides us through the darkness
And trudges with us in the valleys and peaks.
Through your trials, may these truths take root in your soul;
May they be a lamp to your feet
No matter the paths you stroll.
Whether in the valley of the shadow
Or while basking in the sun,
May The Torah always remind you,
The victory is already won.
For through Torah comes all blessing: It’s the source of life and joy and peace. When by it we order our steps, and thus, the mitzvot, we keep.
Through your faithful observance,
may the joy of Hashem lift your countenance high!
May Hashem bless you and always keep you, until He again comes nigh.
