My Long Journey Home to Judaism
Image written in Hebrew and English: "Jerusalem is the light of the world". Contains an image of a view of the Temple Mount from The Mount of Olives, neon pink hearts, and an Israeli flag. This image was drawn by a little girl in Israel and given to me on October 4, 2023.

My Journey Started With Love...

In the middle of a crowded room, two souls spoke words in silence. In the stillness of breathless lungs, Hashem had me to learn what true love felt like so that, when tested, I would be able to discern Him and His truth by the feel of love deep in my neshumah.

Has Survived Through Hate

For several years, Hashem had me journey through various church groups. I could not understand why, but I had the ever-present sense of mission to declare the Jewishness of faith in the so-called Jewish Messiah. This spurned antisemitic vitriol, murder attempts, and other acts of hate, including a series of suffering in Israel prior to, during, and after October 7, 2023.

And Continues in Love...

After very severe trials and tribulations, I knew something about everything I was being told in the church was not right. I decided to make a journey to Israel in hopes of having my questions answered and my faith clarified. October 7, 2023 was the catalyst that provided clear vision and a decisive set of values: Hashem, the G-d of Israel is the One True G-d, I am Jewish, and my heart was set on His Torah & values of Love.

Give Thanks to Hashem, For He Is Good!

I've learned that Hashem's hand is on everything, even when we cannot see it. Yes, my journey has been long and filled with paralleled suffering of my Jewish ancestors. Even still, with everything that has occurred in my journey to this point, I am certain that there is providence, even in pain.  For sometimes, it takes pain in order for Hashem to fulfill a promise. And, according to His promise, in the end, Hashem has used every ounce of pain that the enemy meant for evil and, indeed, He has turned it for good.
