Calm in The Storm
A Poem of Praise
by Kimberly Davis
“Hashem heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.”
He’s your Savior and Redeemer,
So, fear not when you are consumed.
Though the tides rise
and crash like thunder,
And trials come like scorching flames, Know no weapon formed against you Will steal Hashem’s victory
and power to save!
So, in your weakness, cry out to Hashem—His strength is perfect in humbled knees. With His righteous right hand Hashem will help you and calm the raging seas.
By His holy spark deep within you, peace will rise above sorrow and pain.
So, hold on through the struggle, And believe, no tear is shed in vain!
For, Hashem is with you, and Hashem is for you, so beloved Jewish Israelite, be you not afraid!
Hashem has promised to protect you and to redeem you, no matter come what may.
