Oh, What a Day Our Souls Await!
A Poem of Praise

Oh, what a day our souls await—
When we will meet our Lord and King!
To be bowing low before Hashem’s Throne—
This hope makes our hearts and spirits sing!
What a blessed day that day will be
when Hashem, our G-d, appears!
What a blessed hope and fervent joy
to know that day is drawing near!
Oh, the blessed day when Hashem,
the King will come and put darkness to death.
Oh, that blessed day when righteousness reigns
And ushers in eternal rest.
When the Jewish exiles will all be carried home
to Israel, the Jewish Promised Land.
Our Kingdom Come, Hashem’s victory won
as we are gathered by Hashem’s own hand.
Oh what a day our souls await—
when Torah we will fully know.
By moshiach’s word, we all will learn
and into Hashem’s likeness we’ll fully grow.
Oh, what a day our souls await—
The start of eternal life before Hashem’s Throne.
Giving Hashem perfect honor and praise,
Without end forevermore.
