A Poem of Praise

He is my Light in the dead of darkness,
He is my Calm in the stormy seas,
He is my Hope in the pits of sorrow,
He is my Lord—My Prince of Peace.
He is my Rest amid the suffering,
He is my Strength in the depths of pain,
He is my Courage in the face of evil,
He is Hashem, what a Mighty Name!
He is my Power amid my weakness,
He is All-Sufficient when I am poor,
He is my Shelter amid the trials,
He is El Shaddai—my Mighty Warrior!
He is all-together Lovely—
He is my Love, and my dearest Friend.
He is The King of kings and The LORD of lords,
Hashem, The Great I Am—
He’s who I praise without end.
