The goal of today’s lesson is to discover what Hashem's first order of business was in creation. Specifically we will study what it meant for Him to separate the light from the darkness, which is distinctly different than the creation of light in darkness on Day 4 of creation.

This poem of praise gives voice to the truth that, as mere humans made from nothing more than dirt and stardust, it can be very difficult how or why Hashem has chosen us as His beloved Jewish children.

For the beloved Jewish Israelites, there is always hope, no matter how bleak the darkness we face. Though at times it can be hard to see, this poem of praise reminds you to trust in Hashem and the promises He has made to you in His Torah.
